Nazli and Dogukan’s wedding at Wasaga Beach was one of those days that just stays with you. The weather was cloudy and windy, but that only made the whole vibe even more special. It added so much character to their photos, especially during the beach shoot where the waves and the wind played right into the atmosphere of the day.

I had the chance to start the day capturing their wedding preparations, which were so much fun. Good music, tequila shots, lovely family. Nazli looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Felichia Bridal (a bridal boutique in Toronto). I’m still thinking about the intricate details of that dress which was perfect. Dogukan wasn’t any less impressive, rocking a classic and elegant black 3-piece suit from Hugo Boss with a bowtie. These two were a perfect match in every sense, and their style really showed it.

Once we hit the beach for their photo session, the wind made everything even more dynamic. I love when the weather adds an extra element to the shots, and in this case, the wind blowing through Nazli’s dress and the waves crashing in the background gave us something really unique. You could just feel the energy in the air.

As a Wasaga wedding photographer, I can honestly say this location never disappoints. Wedding photography in Wasaga beach has its own magic, and that day was no different. The natural backdrop of the beach with its moody skies created some unforgettable moments.

After the session, the real fun began! Turkish food and a lot of it! I mean, it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was in such high spirits, which just added to the warmth of the day despite the chill in the air. And when the music started, so did the dancing. The energy in the room was contagious, with everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. We end up the night with direct flash photography popping some Moet & Chandon champagne. The modern look of direct flash photography is priceless.

As a Simcoe County wedding photographer, days like this remind me why I love what I do. Being part of Nazli and Dogukan’s wedding celebration, with their incredible style, fun and playful personalities, was truly a joy. I feel so lucky to have captured their beautiful day, and I can’t wait to shoot more weddings in this stunning area.
